Full-Day MMI & Panel Interview Masterclass
A full‑day intensive workshop designed and delivered by doctors and experienced admissions tutors to build your skills for panel and multiple mini interviews (MMIs).
Over one day (08:45–17:30) you will learn proven frameworks, practise in realistic mini‑stations and get feedback from experts. The masterclass is ideal for applicants to UK medical or dental schools who want structured preparation without unnecessary filler.
Why the masterclass?
-
Develop strategic frameworks – learn how to structure answers using methods such as STAR, CAMP and three‑part frameworks and practise applying them to common questions.
-
Practise ethical reasoning – small‑group workshops on ethics help you think through dilemmas using the four‑principles approach (autonomy, beneficence, non‑maleficence, justice).
-
Master panel interviews – targeted sessions explain what interviewers look for in panel interviews and allow you to practise delivering thoughtful, well‑structured responses.
-
Explore current issues – workshops on hot topics and NHS challenges ensure you are ready to discuss contemporary healthcare news.
-
Communicate under pressure – role‑play and rapid “speed station” exercises build confidence for MMI‑style stations.
-
Receive personalised feedback – group debriefs and strategy sessions help you identify strengths and areas for improvement.

How the masterclass prepares you for panel & MMI interviews
-
Know what schools look for – universities want candidates who demonstrate interpersonal skills, ethical judgement and reflective thinking.
-
Understand interview formats – panel interviews involve a longer discussion with a small team of interviewers, while MMIs are circuits of timed stations testing different competencies . Our masterclass covers both, so you know how to adjust your approach.
-
Practise station families – build confidence across common MMI station types such as communication, ethics, NHS insight and data interpretation .
-
Use structured approaches – frameworks like STAR for personal experiences, four‑principle ethics and SPIES for professionalism help you deliver coherent answers .
-
Align with GMC values – universities base their questions on the GMC’s Good Medical Practice (2024), which emphasises patient‑centred care, teamwork and honesty .
-
Top tips – practise timed answers, reflect on your work‑experience insights rather than listing activities, stay informed on healthcare news and maintain wellbeing (sleep, nutrition, early arrival) .
