Baha Bader, BA, PGCE, MSc is a highly experienced educator with over 20 years of expertise in teaching Arabic to non-native speakers. Currently a Lecturer at the University of Manchester, he has dedicated his career to making Arabic language learning accessible, engaging, and rewarding for students of all levels.
In addition to his university role, Baha serves as an Examiner for the Edexcel Exam Board for both GCSE and A-Level Arabic, giving him unique insight into curriculum standards, assessment methods, and strategies for student success. His dual expertise as both teacher and examiner allows him to guide learners not only in mastering the language but also in excelling in formal examinations.
As part of Chequers Academy, Baha will lead the Arabic course, bringing his extensive academic background, practical teaching experience, and passion for cultural education to the programme. His innovative and student-focused approach ensures that learners build strong foundations in the Arabic language while also gaining the confidence to apply their skills in real-world contexts.
