Course bookings and Payments:
Your course booking will be officially confirmed upon the successful receipt of full payment. Following payment verification, you will promptly receive a confirmation email. Please note that our course content is flexible, and adjustments may be implemented as necessary to ensure that we provide the most current and pertinent material. The instructors at Chequers Academy may be subject to changes without prior notice. We kindly ask that you refrain from recording audio or video during any of our courses. Please be aware that our terms and conditions may undergo revisions, though we will always honour the terms in effect at the time of your booking>
Cancellations and Refunds:
To initiate a cancellation for your booking, please send an email to: info@chequersacademy.co.uk, clearly specifying your intent to cancel the course.
Refunds are applicable up to 14 days from the date of payment. However, a £100 administrative fee will be deducted from the refund amount.
No refunds or cancellations will be processed for requests made within 14 days prior to the course commencement.
Payments made within 14 days of the intended course start date are non-refundable.
If a candidate chooses to postpone their intended batch, refunds will not be available.
Refunds will be processed within 14 to 28 business working days.
Refunds will be credited to the same account used for the original payment.
Please note that if you have availed any kind of discount, no refunds will be issued.
Course cancellation by Chequers Academy
In the rare event, that course management must cancel a course, candidates will receive prompt notification. In cases of unforeseen circumstances where Chequers Academy is unable to conduct a course due to reasons beyond its control, a confirmed spot will be offered in the next preferred PLAB course.
Should the preferred course be located overseas, candidates will be required to pay the full fees, including any difference in the amount, as discounts do not apply to overseas courses
Online and overseas Courses:
For online and overseas PLAB 2 course candidates planning to visit our UK academy for practice sessions and mock exams, please ensure that you bring the following documents:
- A photocopy of your valid identity proof (passport or driver’s license).
- A photocopy of your valid visa if you are coming from outside the UK.
- A photocopy of your GMC-PLAB2 exam confirmation (if the PLAB2 exam is booked).
- One passport-sized photograph of yourself.
Upon your arrival at the academy, it is mandatory to complete the registration process in the office. Failure to register may result in denied access to academy facilities.
- Mocks And Practice can only be taken in the UK.
- Mocks should be booked by the candidate via email at least TWO WEEKS prior to their arrival in the UK.
Our course includes two mock exams. To secure a slot for these mocks, candidates should make bookings via email at least two weeks prior to their academy visit.
After completing our course, candidates will have access for practice sessions at the academy.
Course material:
While the administration will make an effort to provide updated PLAB course materials to candidates based on their batch, we can only furnish a digital copy of new or revised materials during or after the course. Please be aware that the course material is designed solely for educational purposes and should not be relied upon for actual treatment purposes.
The clinical scenarios featured in the course material represent common and significant cases that medical students and professionals typically encounter during their medical training and practice. They are not reflective of actual cases in the PLAB2 exam, and any resemblance to PLAB2 exam cases is purely coincidental.
